Rainbows 

National Children’s Voluntary Service

Rainbows is a national children’s voluntary service with an average of 6,000 children and young people coming into the service every year throughout Ireland. Rainbows supports children and young people in groups.

Mountview FRC Rainbows Programme

The Rainbows programme is for children who have experienced a loss through bereavement or separation. For children aged 7 years to 12 years.

Self referral's welcome. 

 

Peer to peer support in small groups with children of similar issues and age group.

Rainbows

We have been facilitating the  Rainbows programme for over 10 years. Fully trained and qualified facilitators work with your child to provide a safe space for them to explore the issues of loss effecting their lives

Referral

To refer a child to the programme, ring the project for a referral form and to have a chat with Sara or Niamh about the service. We will be happy to meet with you to explain the programme in more detail. Self-referrals welcome and referrals from schools and other organisations welcome.

What happens Next

The Rainbows programme runs every November to February. It is a Nine Week programme that facilitates work with your child in a professional and safe space. The programme normally takes place every Tuesday of these months.
