Mountview Family Resource Centre’s (FRC) core funding comes from TUSLA and the work carried out is in line with the 5 National Outcomes for children and families. Our work encompasses the whole life course; from cradle to the grave.

Our vision is that all children, families and communities will actively participate and be included in a society that is free from prejudice, inequality, discrimination and exclusion and which will contribute to their greatest possible well being.
The FRC programme is Irelands largest National Family and Community based support programme.

The facility is leased from Fingal County Council and managed by a centre manager and voluntary board of management
Mountview Family Resource Centre is based in Whitechapel in the parish of Mountview Blanchardstown Dublin 15. Providing Family Support through the principles of Community Development. Initially set up by a group of local women in consultation with Sr Ann in 1994. They carried out a needs analysis to find out what the community needed and this resulted in the Family Resource Centre being established. Today we continue to respond to the ever changing needs of the community by providing a variety of supports and services for all the family.
Our core aim is to support children and families with a particular emphasis on those most in need. Through the provision of creative and innovative programmes and services we aim to address the issues affecting the whole family and bring about positive change in the lives of the people living in the community.

The Board
The Board of Management is responsible for ensuring good governance is adhered to. Our committee comprises of 6 voluntary board members each with their own skill set and talents. All representing a variety of target groups in the area. The board support the staff team and work with the staff to ensure that the plan of work is carried out for the overall development of the community.

The board is structured across tradition committee lines of Chairperson, Vice-Chair, Company Secretary and Treasurer. The Board also consists of a number of Directors.
