Learning and Education
We aim to combat isolation in the community by providing a variety of different courses. Here at Mountview Family Resource Centre, we provide the opportunity for people to learn a new skill and meet new people with similar interests. All our classes aim to support people to have good mental health, while also encouraging people to grow and achieve their goals, and to increase their confidence and wellbeing.
Our Classes

Tea, Coffee & Biscuits included

All our tutors are DDLETB qualified.
Art Classes
Brush up on your painting skills with water colours or learn how to sketch with charcoal.

Basic Computer skills
Basic & beginners classes to introduce you to how the computer works. Learn how to navigate the internet on your terms. (Laptops provided on the day)
Day & Time TBC

Cool Dudes
Learn to cook nutritional meals to include practical cookery and participants choose what they would like to cook from a range of recipes in the handbook provided. The course is practical and fun is had in the kitchen.
Age group 8-10years.

Healthy Food Made Easy
Learn to cook nutritional meals on a budget in our brand new kitchen. Plan your meals, learn how to stick to your grocery lists & minimising leftovers!

Drama and Music can be FUN and an engaging way to learn, express emotions, and develop social skills. Come join us under the guidance of a qualified tutor. All levels of experience welcome to explore and unlock your hidden potential.
